For the stairs, do a spiral tower type with storage with or without a door or enclosed. The basement needs stone ... from the ruins =) There is a minecraft guy that shows how to do the spiral stairs and fortified castle walls ... 15 minute type videos here on YT. I would think the heads could be 'returned' as a quest item. But they should be allowed to be piked like London did on traitors gate as a warning ie slow the spawn rate. Also, welcome to Feudalism, ... make your balcony go around your manor is order to protect your home and yourself. Deserter are using pikes or long spears, that is why they can reach so far ... and if appearance is true to form ... they are armoured but are not dropping any of it.

For all the Ruin material usage ... make an enclosed village within your 'castle'. And for the time to get away ... a hunting lodge. All those should keep you busy for a long time. The devs should make bed areas for pets and/or working dogs ... as well as 'toys' ... instead of the meowing of the cat all the time. As for your storage ... they can stack on the walls.

Enjoying the Adventure! Wow, what a variety of mobs this time! And not many rewards for your troubles. You are not the only one who has seen clothing with green labels only to pick them up, and they change to red labels. It's happened to me and several other streamers. I think it needs to be fixed. The difference between green and orange/yellow, or orange/yellow and red might not be as clear, but the huge difference between green and red quality would be pretty glaring. And you found new sources of clay and a new village via river! Trying to remember if you updated to the v1.0.0 versions of VS Village and all the issues that cropped up. I'm up-to-date, but having to go through current villages and use Creative to fix some of the issues with the new versions can be a bit of an issue if you show up at night. Sort of like that other block game, but the villagers can't even sleep until the beds are fixed! But I really can't complain too much because they're all steps towards much better villages in the end. And I appreciate what Gerste, VS Village's mod dev, has been doing.

The fact that you don't know much about the Caves and Cliffs updates and changes is sort of funny since I've been playing and watching people play all the way up to version 1.20 and seeing you see it for the first time is fun for me. IMHO having a few hole traps around your base really help with leather and meat. Especially if you let rabbits and chickens stay there for bait.

More excitement than I expected! Lucky finding those dogs with the aurochs in a ditch. I've seen you pass quite a bit of flint. It's there, but I think you're keeping your eyes more on the horizon than on the ground with all the mobs roaming around. You can use an andesite stone on a piece of flint if it's your last piece of flint.

Hiya not 100% sure if you know, but this is the old version that you are playing here, which is not being worked on any more as they have crossed over to a new engine Unity, you can get this but going into your stream games rising world / Beta / Unity, once this as been downloaded you will have an option to play this version or the new Unity one.

I didnt even think of a random start mod when i restarted i just used a quick start, thankfully im only a couple levels in and can restart. Hopefully the patch that's supposed to be coming out i think on monday doesnt completely ruin f4se to bad. also thanks for the new mod :)
